At Hartlepool Free School, we believe that every young person has the potential to achieve, develop their strengths and build a positive future. Our careers programme is designed to inspire, motivate and support pupils to understand the world of work and make informed choices about their next steps.
We recognise that our pupils may need a personalised approach to careers education. Through careers guidance, work-related learning, employer encounters, visits, vocational experiences and opportunities to develop essential life and employability skills, we help pupils build confidence, independence and resilience.
We work closely with pupils, families, employers, colleges and other organisations to ensure that careers education is meaningful, accessible and relevant to each individual. Our aim is to help every pupil recognise their strengths, discover their aspirations and develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to move successfully into further education, training, employment and adult life.
